GUIDED WALK

 

EASY – Up to 10kms over easy terrain on paths and forest tracks, alongside rivers with a tor or viewpoint, and historic content. 

 

MEDIUM – Up to 14kms over mixed terrain mostly on good paths and forest tracks, alongside rivers including 1 or 2 tors or viewpoint and historic content. 

 

HARD – Up to 18kms of open top ridges, tors, viewpoints mostly good paths with some steep sections and historic content. 

 

INTRO TO NAVIGATION  

Starting out with a map & compass.  All you need to know to give you the confidence of walking over different types of terrain. Recognising features on the ground and matching this to the map alongside distance & timings.   

 

INTERMEDIATE NAVIGATION  

Learn the hints and tips to accelerate your knowledge base and improve confidence in all types of terrain.  Route planning, decision making and safety awareness, with the possibility of an overnight wild camp.
